Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information CredManage collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using CredManage you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the account details you provide (name, email, organisation), the credential data you create or upload (candidate names, courses, dates, certificate numbers, photos and imported certificate files), and basic usage and device information needed to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide the service — generating certificates and ID cards, powering public verification, organising and tracking your records — and to authenticate you, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve the platform. We do not sell your data.
3. How your data is stored & secured
Your data is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase), encrypted in transit and at rest, with automatic redundancy across data centres. Each organisation's data is logically isolated so that no other customer can access it.
4. Publicly visible information
Certificates you issue include a public verification page so that recipients and third parties can confirm authenticity. Only the fields necessary for verification are shown publicly. You control what is issued and can deactivate or correct records.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, your records are kept so you can re-subscribe and so existing verification links keep working; you may request permanent deletion of your organisation's data at any time.
6. Third-party services
We rely on trusted sub-processors to operate CredManage — including Google Firebase (hosting/database/storage), our email provider (verification and notifications), and our payment processor (billing). These providers process data only as needed to deliver their part of the service.
7. Your rights
You can access, export, correct or delete your data. You can download issued certificates and cards at any time and request export or deletion of your records by contacting us.
8. Cookies & local storage
We use only essential cookies/local storage required to keep you signed in and remember preferences (such as theme and currency). We do not use advertising trackers.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date, and where appropriate we will notify you.
10. Contact
